Every day is a new day. You wake up and begin each day with some sort of routine. Perhaps you wake up from your natural alarm clock or that loud sound that you snooze over and over again, and now when you hear that same sound like someone's cell phone ringer... you cringe at the sound.
Every day you get out of bed. Either eager and excitedly to begin your day, or moaning and groaning about everything you do not want to do for the upcoming day.
You might head straight over to the kitchen and pour your first cup of coffee, which is going to help you through the day or just give you that extra oomph of energy that you may not even need!
Often times you are thinking about the present day and your state of unhappiness you feel. You look towards the future of how or where you can take a different turn, to become the person you envision of your future. I like to call this the crossbars of life; Stuck between who you are presently and who you feel your future self should be.
You frequently look back at your life, you compare, and you think about what could have been. Where you might be today if you would've taken the proper steps long ago. This is the net; It's meant to stop you from looking back and only thinking of where you need to run from there. When you play soccer there is no running back to your net. Then there is the space between where your life goals continue to sit if you don't propel yourself in that forward direction to the net on the opposite side of the field.
All of us are a part of this one life, and together you must cheer each other on, as though its the best damn sport that has ever been played!
Guys, there is two definitions in the English dictionary for the word "goal".
Guys, there are two definitions in the English dictionary for the word "goal".
1. (In football, soccer, rugby, hockey, and some other games) a pair of posts linked by a crossbar and often with a net attached behind it, forming a space into or over which the ball has to be sent in order to score.
2. The object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result.
My favourite when explaining life's goals is the first one. It is a great symbolism of life.
Life is a sport. The crossbars are a symbol of the present and future day. The net attached is there to prevent you from moving backwards and instead serve as a reminder to go forward. The space formed between is where your life's goals will continue to sit if you don't push and propel yourself towards the other teams net. Again and again, you feel stuck and like everyone is judging you but in reality, the majority of the world is cheering loud and clear for everyone to be the best version of themself and hit their first goal.
The world is showing up for you and cheering you on as you push yourself in that forward direction towards that future you know you want! Show up for yourself and invite the world into your plans!
So where are you at in the 'sport we call life'?

I am here to tell you, NOT THIS TIME!
This time it's going to be different, with a plan to work towards your goal on a daily basis.
At the beginning of each month take some time for yourself, and think about what you want to accomplish for the month.
We are not planning for any more than a month at this point.
By the end of this month, where do you want to be at, to be that much closer to that huge dream?
What are the items you want to complete by the end of the month?
You have a huge dream!? Great!!

I am including a couple of pages I have been using myself, that has helped me inch towards my goals. I am one that cannot just work towards one goal, reach it, then move onto the next. I need to see results in order to keep myself motivated! I have used the following process for projects I just want to complete around the house, as well as future life goals.
Use these pages and consider everything you want to be done by the end of this month!
Now go ahead... Think about what you want to complete by the end of July! Write down your July goals on the page provided. This page will be the end result by the end of July! Here is a photo of my very own goals I am aiming towards for July.
As you can see there is nothing drastic on there. However, there are little steps that will get me to where I want to be for my future self. Let me tell you when I can checkmark these off at the end of the month... It feels AMAZING, and makes me want to keep going the next month!
I then for part of my morning routine take a look at my July goals and see what I can incorporate that day as small steps towards my months goals. Looking at these goals daily keeps me motivated. Here is what I call my daily map, and my plan for the day to get me that much closer to the end of the month goals! Again, just like above... checking off these mini-steps throughout the day keeps me going. With this process, I find it helps me moving forward and prevents me from giving up. As I see results and accomplishments checked off that's my motivation I am headed in the right direction towards bigger and better things!
Now you do not need to do as much as I did, mine is for demonstration purposes. Do what you feel you can and will accomplish in a day to keep you motivated. Just remember why you are doing this!!
Each day choose at least 3 goals and a task, or two, or more that will inch you toward the opposite teams goalie net!
